The one-week celebration for the late Member of Parliament (MP) for Akwatia, Ernest Yaw Kumi, has been scheduled for Friday, August 29, 2025. The ceremony will be held at the Akyem Wenchi Funeral Grounds in the Eastern Region, starting at 7:00 a.m.Family, friends, political figures, and members of the community are expected to gather to honour the memory of the late legislator.
Mr.
Kumi passed away on Monday, July 7, 2025, after a brief illness.
He was 40 years old and is survived by his wife and children.
