Dutch-born forward of Ghanaian descent, Ernest Poku, has trained with his new teammates at Bayer Leverkusen, marking a new chapter in his career.
The highly-rated youngster sealed his much-anticipated transfer from AZ Alkmaar to the German Bundesliga club on Tuesday, August 12. "Bayer 04 Leverkusen have signed the Netherlands U21 international Ernest Poku.
The winger has joined the Werkself from the top-flight Dutch side AZ Alkmaar on a contract to 30 June 2030," the club statement said.
Hours later, Ernest Poku joined his new teammates to have his first training session.
