It is emerging that Squadron Leader Peter Abaafeme Anala, one of the eight (8) victims of the military helicopter crash, has over a decade of flying experience.

According to a senior military officer who spoke to MyNewsGh.com's Stephen Zoure on grounds of strict anonymity, Squadron Leader Peter Abaafeme Anala is one of the most experienced pilots in the Ghana Armed Forces. "He has personally flown me to several places, and I have no doubt he is one of the most experienced pilots we have in the service. "It takes a lot of experience and professionalism for someone to attain the rank of a Squadron Leader," our source revealed.

The serving military officer was reacting to claims by a section of the Ghanaian public that Squadron Leader Peter Abaafeme Anala was inexperienced, for which reason the crash may have occurred.

Our source, however, discounted such claims, insisting that those persons were making baseless arguments borne out of ignorance.
