Ghanaian forward Daniel Afriyie Barnieh was on target once again as FC Aarau secured a 2-0 home win over Xamax in the Swiss Challenge League over the weekend.
The 24-year-old opened the scoring in the 14th minute, latching onto a well-worked move to hand Aarau an early advantage.
His strike, his third in as many matches, gave the hosts control going into the break.
Barnieh, who earned another start following his impressive recent form, was a constant threat to the Xamax defence before being substituted in the 76th minute for Henri Koide.
