There are calls on the two leading political parties to agree and cancel the impending by-elections in Akwatia and Tamale Central.
Proponents of this believe that it is the noble thing to do, considering Ghana's current circumstances.
They believe that the NDC must step aside in Akwatia while the NPP steps aside in Tamale Central in the Northern Region.
This was proposed by former Minister, Prince Hamid Armah and had the backing of making who believe that it is the right thing to do.
