The Adansi chiefs, led by the President of the Traditional Council, Opagyakotwere Bonsra Afiriyie II, have performed sacred religious rites following the fatal helicopter crash that occurred on their land.
The purpose of this traditional rite was to offer sacrifice to the gods of the land to avert any further calamity that may befall any of the Adansi communities.
The ritual was performed at "Dei Boɔ," a sacred place viewed as an embodiment of the entire Adansi communities and has been preserved for centuries.
In line with tradition, a ram was slaughtered as an offering to the gods of Adansi land to help avert any future occurrence of the tragedy that had plunged the entire country into a state of mourning.
