Former president has visited the residence of the late Member of for Akwatia, Ernest Yaw Kumi, to commiserate with the family and sign the book of condolence.
Ernest Kumi, a first-time MP elected on the ticket of the (NPP), passed away on July 7, 2025.
He had recently been at the centre of a high-profile legal battle over the legitimacy of his parliamentary seat.
His death comes just weeks after the Supreme Court overturned his contempt conviction related to the disputed 2024 parliamentary election results.
