A group of New Patriotic Party (NPP) Members of Parliament on Tuesday, August 5, picked up nomination forms on behalf of NPP presidential hopeful Kennedy Agyapong, ahead of the party's presidential primaries scheduled for January 31, 2026.
The delegation included the MP for Obuasi West, Kwaku Kwarteng; Charles Forson of Tema West; Stephen Amoah, MP for Nhyiaeso; and Lawrence Agyinsam, MP for Hemang Lower Denkyira.
They were joined by Dr Alex Ampaabeng, a former Deputy Minister for Finance in the Akufo-Addo administration, who has publicly endorsed Kennedy Agyapong as the right candidate to lead the NPP and Ghana into the future.
