A driver found himself in a difficult situation after attempting to cross a wetland at Kpone Laloi Beach, resulting in his pickup sinking into quicksand.
The incident occurred during the early hours of Tuesday, August 5, and quickly gained the attention of passersby and residents.
According to the video posted by "hypemaster" on Instagram dated August 5, 2025, the driver underestimated the challenging terrain and ended up deeply submerging his vehicle in the treacherous quicksand. "A driver reportedly attempting to cross a wetland at the Kpone Laloi Beach with his pickup truck in the early hours of this morning, ended up deeply sinking the vehicle into the quicksand," the post stated.
The incident attracted a crowd of onlookers with footage spreading rapidly on social media.
