The President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku, led a delegation from the football fraternity to the funeral of Joseph Kobina Ade Coker, former Vice Chairman of the GFA, in a dignified and heartfelt tribute to one of Ghana football's most respected figures.

The funeral service, held on Friday, August 1, 2025, at the forecourt of the State House in Accra, drew numerous dignitaries and national leaders, including President of the Republic, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, and Vice President, Her Excellency Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang.

Their presence was a testament to the enduring impact of Ade Coker's contributions to both sport and public life.

The late Joseph Kobina Ade Coker passed away at the Bank Hospital on Sunday, June 1, 2025, following a short illness.
