The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has unveiled a new trophy for the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN), to be held across Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania from August 2 to 30, 2025.
The sleek silver-and-gold design was revealed in a special video featuring African football legends Victor Wanyama (Kenya), Denis Onyango (Uganda), and Mrisho Ngasa (Tanzania).
The trio's presence underscored the symbolic significance of the new trophy and its reflection of the tournament's growing stature.
A standout feature of the trophy is its 54 encircling linesâeach representing a CAF member associationâwith a map of Africa placed at the centre.
