The Ghana Insurers Association (GIA) has extended support to the Ayawaso East Municipality in the Greater Accra Region by donating items worth thousands of Ghana cedis.
The donation, which includes two tricycles, is expected to play a significant role in tackling the municipality's sanitation challenges.
Abdul Ganiyu Ibrahim, the Municipal Chief Executive, expressed gratitude to the GIA for the timely gesture, stating that the municipality is currently struggling to maintain clean frontages and drainage systems.
The donated tricycles, he noted, will be valuable assets in promoting a cleaner environment.
