Member clubs of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) submitted proposals for key amendments to the Association's statutes, focusing on two key areas: the extension of presidential term limits and the elevation of the women's representative within the leadership structure.
The proposals form part of a broader movement to modernize the GFA's governance framework and align it with international best practices.
The proposals, submitted by various clubs and stakeholders across all levels of Ghanaian football, prompted the GFA's Executive Council to initiate a formal review process by establishing a Statutes Review Committee, chaired by Dr.
Randy Abbey, over three years ago.
