Professor Ransford Gyampo, the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Shippers' Authority, has commended the government's performance in managing the economy and urged Ghanaians to support ongoing recovery efforts.

The political science professor highlighted that the government has done "extremely well in restoring hope in the people," adding, "It is not about gaslighting or propaganda, it is about what the ordinary person feels.

If things improve, who benefits?" Gyampo stressed that while critics may focus on political messaging, the lived experiences of ordinary citizens should be the measure of progress. "So far, this government has done well," he noted during a panel discussion on TV3's Keypoints, pointing to improvements he believes are taking shape across the country.

In a separate interview with Bernard Avle on Channel One TV, monitored by MyNewsGh, the outspoken academic made a personal disclosure regarding his housing arrangements.
