Atalanta CEO Luca Perscassi has shared the reason behind the club's decision to sign Ghana winger Kamaldeen Sulemana. The Black Stars forward signed for the 2024 Europa League winners early in July from English side Southampton on a four-year deal.
Sulemana was presented to the fans on Thursday at a press conference from the club's base in Bergamo.
CEO Percassi stated during his presentation that the winger was signed because he has the qualities to perfectly fit in at the club. "He's of a young age, yet he has gained valuable experience across Europe.
It was an added reason for our decision, along with the fact that he already worked with Coach JuriÄ last season.
