The of Ghana has approved the nomination of four members of the House for various deputy ministerial roles by President John Dramani Mahama.
The nominees include Dorcas Affo Toffey, MP for Jomoro, nominated for the position of Deputy Minister of Transport; James Gyakye Quayson, MP for Assin North, nominated as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs; Mohammed Adam Sukparu, MP for Sissala West, nominated as Deputy Minister of Communication, Digital Technology, and Innovations; and Dr.
Grace Ayensu-Danquah, MP for Essikado-Ketan, nominated as Deputy Minister of Health.
The approval by the House was based on a recommendation from the Appointments Committee of in a report presented on Tuesday, July 29, 2025.
