Defender Samba O'neil has been named the new captain of Asante Kotoko following changes to the leadership of the playing body.
The Congolese centre-back, who was named the club's Player of the season, will be assisted by Henry Ansu and Lord Amoah as the first and second deputies respectively.
O'neil impressed in his first campaign with the club, helping the Porcupine Warriors to FA Cup and President Cup success.
He made his debut against Hearts of Oak in the Democracy Cup, where he produced a Man of the Match performance as the Reds defeated their sworn rivals.
