Pupils and teachers of Awutu Otopiase Basic in the Awutu Senya West District have received a sign of relief after E A Pobee Foundation constructed a borehole for them after years without water.

Awutu Otopiase is a farming community with a population of over 1000, but access to clean water was a challenge to them.

Speaking to the media, Founder of E A Pobee Foundation, Emmanuel Pobee, expressed joy for putting a smile on the face of the pupils, teachers, and the community as a whole. "The decision to construct this borehole in Otopiase was guided by the clear and urgent needs of the community. "For years, the people here have suffered due to the lack of clean and reliable water.

During the dry season, families walk long distances in search of water - often settling for streams or rainwater, which are not always safe.
