Ghana Premier League giants Accra Hearts of Oak have parted ways with defender Michael Ampadu following the expiration of his contract.
The experienced right-back, who joined the Phobians, made several appearances for the club during his time at the Accra-based side but will now move on as a free agent after both parties agreed not to renew his deal.
Sources close to the club reveal that initial talks over a possible extension did not materialise, paving the way for Ampadu to seek opportunities elsewhere ahead of the new season.
The 26-year-old is now open to offers and is expected to attract interest from several Ghanaian clubs and potentially teams abroad due to his top-flight experience and versatility.
