soccer legend Tim Howard has strongly criticized Charlotte FC's decision to sell Patrick Agyemang to English Championship side Derby County, arguing that such moves ultimately weaken the Major League Soccer (MLS) and hinder its long-term development.

Agyemang, a Ghana-born American international, recently completed a transfer to Pride Park in a deal that could rise to £7.3 million, with an initial fee of around £5.8 million.

The 24-year-old forward signed a four-year contract with Derby County, making a significant leap in his career, but not without controversy.
