The Ghana Football Association (GFA), through its Women's Football Development Desk, has held a strategic meeting with all ten Regional Football Association (RFA) Chairmen and their respective Heads of Women's Football to finalise plans for the nationwide rollout of the U15 Girls Colts Leagues.
This development follows the successful pilot of the leagues in the Northern Region and in Ashaiman under the Greater Accra RFA, laying the groundwork for full implementation across all football regions in Ghana.
The meeting, led by GFA Women's Football Development Manager Jennifer Amankwaa Sarpong, focused on the league's structure, safeguarding measures, and modalities in accordance with FIFA and GFA standards.
She noted that, like their male counterparts, existing clubs are encouraged to establish U15 girls teams and register players accordingly.
