Black Queens winger Princess Marfo expressed relief after Ghana progressed to the quarter-final of the Women's Africa Cup of Nations.  Ghana had picked only a point from their opening two games, putting pressure on the team ahead of the final Group C encounter against Tanzania.

The Black Queens produced a spectacular second half display to dismantle the East Africans, with Marfo winning a penalty that gave Ghana a second half lead.

The spot kick was converted by Alice Kusi after Princella Adubea had opened the scoring before late strikes from Evelyn Badu and Chantelle-Boye Hlorkah.
