Shayibu Abubakari says he is excited to join Asante Kotoko and is relishing the opportunity to work alongside fellow right-back Lord Amoah following the completion of his transfer to the club.
The 21-year-old defender sealed a three-year contract with the Porcupine Warriors after successfully passing his medical.
He joins from Karela United, having previously represented Real Tamale United and spent time in the Czech Republic with Mladá Boleslav.
Lord Amoah, who joined Kotoko from Berekum Chelsea last season, made 21 appearances in the Ghana Premier League and is currently first choice in the right-back role.
