The Esports Association of Ghana (EAG) has officially been invited to compete in the Esports World Cup 2025, which will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from July 8 to August 24, 2025.

The Esports World Cup Foundation and the Saudi Esports Federation formally invited the Association's President, Mr Kwesi Hayford.

Ghana will send a two-person delegation to the tournament, which is set to attract around 2,000 top-tier players and 200 professional clubs fighting for a record $70 million prize fund.

The Esports World Cup is widely regarded as one of the most important and prestigious events in worldwide professional gaming.
