Ghanaian attacker Emmanuel Yeboah has signed with Swedish top-flight side Halmstad BK on a season-long loan from Danish club Brondby IF, in a move aimed at giving the 22-year-old more regular first-team opportunities.

Known for his physicality, pace, and high energy, Yeboah heads into his second loan stint in as many seasons, having previously spent time with Vejle Boldklub in the Danish Superliga.

Despite making just nine appearances there, he displayed glimpses of his talent - qualities Halmstad head coach Jesper Westerberg hopes to unlock fully in Sweden. "We've been monitoring him since last winter," Westerberg revealed on the club's website. "Our scouting process included data analysis, match footage, and insights from coaches who've worked with him.

He matches the athletic and tactical demands of our setup." Yeboah has already had a taste of European football, playing for CFR Cluj in Romania - where he featured in the UEFA Champions League - before moving to Brondby.
