The Member of Parliament for Amasaman, Sedem Kweku Afenyo, has assured residents that the long-abandoned Ofankor-Nsawam road project will be completed soon.
His comments follow a protest by residents of Nsawam and Amasaman, who hit the streets to express frustration over what they describe as the government's continued neglect of the vital road link between Accra and the Eastern Region.
Speaking on Saturday, July 12, Mr.
Afenyo said he has received clear commitments from the Minister for Roads and Highways that the project is a top priority. "I can give them that assurance [that the road will be fixed].
