Derby County have won the race to sign USA international of Ghanaian descent Patrick Agyemang in the ongoing summer transfer window.
The English Championship outfit are keen on bolstering their squad for the new campaign in an attempt to make a meaningful impact.
However, the Championship club are said to have won the race to snap up the talented attacker, beating off competition from RC Lens and OGC Nice.
Agyemang had been a target for the French outfit, with both in need of attacking reinforcements this summer.
