Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mustapha Gbande, has stated that it is normal for a journalist to receive slaps during an election.
He says, so far as the country has failed to deal with the minority leader, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, he sees nothing wrong with the journalist receiving slaps in such a tense environment.
Mustapha Gbande noted that these are normal for the times and will be addressed after the election. "This is not the first time, the Minority Leader, Afenyo Markin, slapped a police officer recently.
Nothing has happened yet, so that is why another thing will happen.
