A fatal accident at Adanwomase in the Kwabre East Municipality of the Ashanti Region involving a Kia truck and a bullion van has claimed five lives, according to reports.
The devastating incident occurred in the late afternoon on Wednesday, July 9, 2025.
The accident victims, including two police officers, were onboard the bullion van and the Kia truck.
According to an eyewitness, Bright Ntem, who spoke to Channel One News, the bullion van driver attempted to overtake a car upon reaching a hill, but unfortunately, the Kia truck was also coming from the other direction, leading to the crash. "It happened around 4:30 PM.
