Mahamudu Bawumia, has criticised the newly launched 24-Hour Economy policy, describing it as a rebranded version of past economic development strategies, including the Ghana Beyond Aid agenda.

Speaking on Channel One TV's Breakfast Daily on Wednesday, July 9, Miracles Aboagye said the policy, unveiled by President John Dramani Mahama on July 2, borrows heavily from existing strategies, particularly the Ghana Beyond Aid agenda, and fails to offer any real innovation or practical pathway for transforming Ghana's economy. "They have launched a document they call a 24-Hour-Economy, but it is a footnote of the Ghana Beyond Aid document.
