The Parliament of Ghana has announced the implementation of new security protocols, effective immediately, aimed at improving safety, streamlining visitor management, and ensuring order within the precincts of Parliament House.

A statement dated July 8 underscored that the Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, has directed that all visitors and stakeholders entering Parliament House must now use the Ceremonial Gate. "The general public is expected to note that: upon arrival, visitors would be directed to the visitors' centre for appropriate processing, verification and confirmation of the purpose of their visit to the Parliament House," the statement said.

Parliament further urged the public to treat the new directive with the urgency and seriousness it deserves.   Read the full statement below;   Ablekuma North NPP justifies rerun boycott
