Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mustapha Gbande, has said that calls by party supporters for the revocation of the appointment of a former aide to former Vice President Dr.
Mahamudu Bawumia to a position at the Presidency are justified.
Speaking on Face to Face on Channel One TV, Gbande acknowledged the frustration among grassroots members, describing the President's decision as "unpopular" and "a bad one" from the perspective of the party base, although he acknowledged the broader national context in which the appointment was made.
The appointment, which has not been officially detailed but is reported to involve a former staffer of Dr.
