A vice president for Think Tank, IMANI Africa, Kofi Bentil, has backed calls for the removal of the leadership of Ghana's Electoral Commission.
It will be recalled that the chairman of the governing National Democratic Congress, in an interview with Accra-based Joy News, called for a reset of the Electoral Commission.
He argued that the electoral management body is led by people who have proven to be incompetent, considering various developments under their leadership.
In a post shared via social media with regards to the EC's announcement that they will be rerunning elections in some 19 polling stations in the Ablekuma North Constituency, Kofi Bentil indicated that the current EC is monumentally incompetent.
