The Director-General of the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC), Prof.
Abdulai Jinapor, has called on the Tertiary Education Workers Union of Ghana (TEWU-GH) to refrain from unlawful actions as the union continues its indefinite nationwide strike.
TEWU-GH declared the strike on Thursday, July 3, following the expiration of a seven-day ultimatum issued on June 24.
The union is protesting what it describes as its deliberate exclusion from the governing councils of traditional public universities.
