The National Commission on Culture (NCC) has expressed concern over the rise in cross-dressing among men who create content on TikTok.

These concerns from the NCC heightened after a few male content creators made news in Kumasi at the Ridge Condos All Black Party by dressing and accessorizing like ladies.

Dr.

Richardson Commey Fio, Deputy Executive Director of the NCC, raised serious concerns about the development in an interview with Graphic Showbiz.

He criticized the actions as being against Ghanaian cultural norms saying "It is very disappointing that we continue to experience such behaviours that are an affront to our rich cultural values and norms." "What happened in Kumasi is a total disrespect to our Ghanaian culture and more directly an insult to Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Manhyia, and all custodians of culture in the Ashanti Region and Ghana at large," he added.
