The Ashanti Regional Police Command has arrested nine (9) robbery suspects in connection with recent residential armed robberies within the Kumasi Metropolis.
Police say the operation led to the death of one suspect, who sustained gunshot wounds during an exchange of fire with police officers.
He was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead.
Another suspect who also sustained gunshot wounds is currently receiving treatment at the hospital under strict police guard.
