The National Identification Authority (NIA) has announced that its workers have suspended their strike, leading to the resumption of full operations nationwide effective on June 30, 2025.
This resolution to the labor dispute brings welcome relief to citizens who depend on the NIA for essential services, such as obtaining the Ghana Card.
In a public notice issued on Sunday, June 29, and signed by Williams Ampomah E.
Darlas, head of the NIA's Corporate Affairs Directorate, the authority stated that the decision followed extensive discussions with key stakeholders.
