The Elections Committee of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) has issued a stern warning against the circulation of a fake voters' list, just hours before the highly anticipated National and Regional Elections scheduled for Monday, June 30, 2025.
The committee's alert comes amidst mounting concerns over the integrity of the electoral process, with officials vowing decisive action against anyone attempting to undermine the polls.
In a statement released on Sunday, June 29, the Committee expressed deep concern over what it described as a deliberate attempt to mislead members and erode confidence in the electoral process, as reported by citinewsroom.com on the same day, June 29, 2025. "The Committee urges all members to ignore this mischievous fabrication and rely solely on the official voters' register, which has been duly signed by both the GJA General Secretary and Treasurer," the statement emphasised.
