Former Director of the Ghana School of Law, Kwaku Ansa-Asare has backed the suspended Chief Justice, Gertrude Torkornoo's call on the committee investigating her removal process to change the venue if it's true that it evokes some memory.
In the course of the week, the suspended chief justice addressed the nation on the ongoing process to remove her.
She described the process as political and insisted that she would not resign to make the work of the people who want her out of the way easy.
One thing she mentioned was the venue of the committee's sittings, Adu Lodge, which she indicated was selected to cause her pain and intimidate her, as her late uncle was killed there. "The work of the committee is being conducted in a cordoned high-security zone on Castle Drive, Osu, where all Article 146 proceedings since 1993 have been held in facilities of the Judicial Service.
