The Health Committee of Parliament has reiterated its commitment to ensuring that the concerns of the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA) are addressed by the government.

This assurance comes after the GRNMA expressed strong disappointment in the Committee for what it describes as a breach of the agreed roadmap aimed at resolving outstanding issues related to the implementation of revised conditions of service.

The GRNMA said the Health Committee had unilaterally rescheduled a crucial meeting initially planned for June 26 to July 10, 2025, citing the absence of some key stakeholders currently outside the country's jurisdiction.

The Association views the rescheduling as a lack of urgency in addressing their long-standing concerns.
