Nana Akomea has expressed deep concern over growing divisions within the party, blaming them on internal competition for the flagbearer position.
The former National Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), in an interview on Asempa FM's Ekosii Sen show, pointed to the harmful impact of tribal and religious tensions, warning that they were eroding the party's unity. "There is division over religion, over tribe, and all because of people eyeing the flagbearer slot.
This is not good for the party," he stated.
He revealed that the party's National Council could no longer afford to remain idle in the face of the widening cracks.
