Former Western North Regional Minister, Joojo Rocky Obeng, has declared his firm belief that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) stands its strongest chance of reclaiming power in the 2028 general elections if it fields Kennedy Ohene Agyapong as its presidential candidate.

Speaking in an interview on Channel One TV's Face to Face on Tuesday June 24, he expressed confidence in the former Assin Central MP's growing popularity within the party and across the country, citing a post-2024 shift in grassroots sentiment. "I believe that if we present him [Kennedy Agyapong], we will win the next election," he stated confidently.

Reflecting on the party's performance and leadership direction, Obeng acknowledged that the 2024 election campaign had helped solidify the stature of then-flagbearer Dr.
