Member of for Abetifi, Dr , began his journey toward the NPP flagbearership with a solemn visit to the Presbyterian Church of Ghana on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, where he received prayer and anointing, reaffirming the spiritual foundations that anchor his leadership and decision to contest in the 2028 elections.

In a post shared on his X page, he wrote, "Today, I visited the Moderator and some members of the General Council of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana.

I reaffirmed the spiritual roots that have shaped my values, my leadership, and my sense of purpose.

It was a deeply moving encounter filled with reflection, prayer, and anointing.
