President has reminded Ghana's security agencies that their foremost duty is to protect citizens and ensure their safety.
Speaking at a brief ceremony at Jubilee House on June 23, 2025, President Mahama expressed gratitude to security personnel for their GH¢1 million donation to the Ghana Medical Trust Fund, also known as MahamaCares.
The donation, led by the Minister of the Interior, Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, came from eleven agencies under the Ministry, including the , Fire Service, Immigration Service, Prisons Service, and others.
Muntaka described the gesture as a shared commitment to health, noting that illness knows no boundaries.
