The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has announced that it will meet with all party members who have declared intentions to contest in the upcoming presidential primaries, as internal activities intensify ahead of the 2028 elections.

In a press release issued on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, and signed by General Secretary Justin Kodua Frimpong, the party stated that the joint meeting will involve the aspirants, the National Steering Committee, and the National Council of Elders.

It is scheduled to take place on Thursday, July 3, 2025, and will address matters of mutual concern.

The NPP also revealed that it has taken disciplinary action against its Bono Regional Chairman, Kwame Baffoe, popularly known as Abronye.
