Ghana and the Kingdom of Eswatini have taken steps to deepen inter-parliamentary collaboration following a visit by the Speaker of Eswatini's House of Assembly, Jabulani Mabuza, to Ghana's on Monday, June 23, 2025.
Sharing details of the engagement in a Facebook post, on June 24, Speaker Bagbin described it as a timely opportunity to deepen inter-parliamentary relations between the two nations. "On Monday, June 23, I hosted Hon Jabulani Mabuza and his entourage from the House of Assembly of the Kingdom of Eswatini on an inter-parliamentary relationship-building visit," he wrote.
Bagbin emphasised the importance of collaboration among African s in projecting the continent's voice in global affairs.
He noted that despite differences in political and cultural structures, Ghana and Eswatini are bound by a shared African heritage and common goals. "Though Ghana and Eswatini may differ in many respects, we are united by our shared African heritage and the need for us to amplify the voice of our continent in international affairs together," he indicated.
