Alhaji Adam Muazu, the recently appointed Municipal Chief Executive of the Lawra Municipality, has been reported dead at the age of 53.
According to a report by myjoyonline.com, Muazu's death followed a period of illness during which he received treatment at hospital facilities but ultimately succumbed to the condition.
The report further indicated that Muazu's bereaved family disclosed he had been unwell even before his appointment as Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) and his swearing-in ceremony in April 2025.
News of his passing has sent shock waves through the Lawra community.
