President of IMANI Africa, Franklin Cudjoe, has taken a swipe at the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for what he describes as premature and chaotic jostling for political power just months after their defeat in the 2024 general elections.
In a strongly worded Facebook post on Tuesday morning, Cudjoe questioned the party's urgency and tone in its renewed push for political relevance. "Ah, has the 2028 elections been brought forward?
Why is the NPP rabidly raucous about the presidency just a few months after their monumental beating?" he wrote.
He went on to describe the party's conduct as "classless and crass," stressing the need for a more serious, innovative, and forward-thinking opposition that can hold the ruling party accountable and contribute meaningfully to national development.
