Negeri Sembilan FC have pulled off an exciting coup with the signing of Ghanaian forward Joseph Esso, a proven goal scorer who now becomes the latest member of The Jangs' attacking arsenal ahead of the 2025-26 Malaysian Super League campaign.
At 28, Esso brings a wealth of experience and pedigree, having starred in the Ghana Premier League for clubs like Dreams FC and Ebusua Dwarfs.
Esso also played for Algerian giants MC Alger, where he scored 11 goals and delivered five assists in 66 appearances across all competitions.
He enjoyed a standout 2024-25 season, netting 11 goals in 32 matches for Dreams - a form that caught the eye of Negeri Sembilan's scouting team.
