Workers of the Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMeT) are calling on the government to urgently address long-standing challenges affecting their welfare and operations, including poor conditions of service, obsolete equipment, and unpaid overtime allowances.

In a press release signed by Mr.

Paston Ahenkan Egyir, Divisional Chairman, and Mr.

Jessie Quaofio, Divisional Secretary of the Public Services Workers Union (PSWU) of the Trades Union Congress (TUC), the staff appealed to the government to intervene and ensure the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) and the Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) settle outstanding debts owed to the Agency.
